Pearl Ball – Celebrating 30 Years Of Care

30 years since Wigan & Leigh Hospice opened the doors and now the Hospice has grown into an organisation that now cares for around 1000 patients each year and many more thousands providing support for families and carers.

What a truly memorable and wonderful evening celebrating at the Hospice Pearl Anniversary Ball.  It was an honour  for me to perform on the evening.  It was such a brilliant night and it was amazing to see so many supporters of the Hospice there.  Over £20000 so far has been raised. Special ‘thankyou’ to the organisers, Maxine, Edwin, Phil who provided the Sound, Norman for being such a great MC for the evening and to everyone who supported the Hospice 30th anniversary.

Scott performs for Young Persons Charity

Helping young people  who suffer with a variety of issues and working with  many youngsters who have social, confidence and self-esteem issues which affect their lives  is what the Tunza’s Pride Charity is involved with.  The opening of their very first social centre in St Helens during 2013 will be  a massive achievement for everyone concerned.  Scott was delighted to have been able to support the charity and provide the entertainment during the evening at Haydock Park.

Aintree Grand National Event

Aintree Grand National 2013 event on Thursday 4th, Friday 5th and Saturday 6th April.

Scott had a fantastic time there and was delighted to sing for everyone  at one of the world’s greatest horse racing events.

“It was great to see you all having such a good time.  Many thanks to the staff at Aintree and to the brilliant audiences who appreciated my performances and  helping to make it  yet another memorable event. “

Wigan & Leigh Hospice Ball 2013

Wigan & Leigh Hospice will be celebrating their Pearl Anniversary on 18 May 2013.  I am absolutely delighted to be performing at their Annual Ball which commences at 7pm.  The venue is Kilhey Court Hotel, Worthington, Wigan.  During the evening there will be a meal, raffle, auction and entertainment.

“Please show your support for Wigan & Leigh Hospice and the wonderful work they do.  I only need to visit the Hospice speak to the day patients and listen to them say how much they appreciate the work of the Hospice staff/volunteers and how much they enjoy meeting other patients and the activities they are able to do there. It is there to see for yourself the fantastic levels of support given to caring for each patient and how much the staff and volunteers work so well together.”

Scott sings for The Prince’s Trust Diamond Ball

Performing at the wonderful St Georges Hall, Liverpool for The Prince’s Trust ninth Diamond Ball was truly amazing.  I am honoured to be asked back to perform once again and support The Prince’s Trust. I performed 24 songs during the evening.  The biggest selling female artist of the 1980′s Alison Moyet performed at the event too and she was absolutely brilliant!!  It was great to hear from Alison who informed me that over £50,000 was raised at the event which I think is fantastic.  Monies raised helps so many of the young people who come to the Trust who face problems such as lack of education, drug dependency, time spent in prison, poverty, lack of faith in themselves, to turn their lives around by reminding them that somebody cares. A special thanks to all the organisers who work so hard to make the event such a success.

CBBC Hacker T Dog with Scott at Santa Parade and Wigan Christmas Lights 2012

Scott performed for massive crowds at Wigan Christmas Lights Switch On 2012.  ”Absolutely fantastic turnout and the support from the crowds was immense.  Great to meet up with everyone  and Hacker T Dog enhanced the comedy of the evening with his mischievious antics.   Kye Sones  from 2012 X Factor UK  did a fantastic job as well as all other performers on the evening.   I thoroughly enjoyed performing on the 50ft stage once again and having the crowds singing along and joining in with the Robbie Williams  classic song ‘Candy’ It  was superb!!!!”

It was a pleasure to meet up with Hacker T Dog  at The Santa Parade.  Hacker had just finished filming for this years Children In Need.  I had a great time travelling with Hacker T Dog  in the  carriage throughout the town.

The Christmas events were extremely well organised. It was great to see so many people at the  Christmas Lights Switch On and the Santa Parade .  It is becoming more popular and more well attended by the year!
