Liverpool – The Prince’s Trust 40th Anniversary

A special evening was held at The Cunard Building to celebrate The Prince’s Trust 40th anniversary.  Support from the Trust has helped change the lives of 825,000 people.  The Diamond Ball Event was a huge success and helped to raise once again crucial funds to help more vulnerable young people in the North West.  “It is always such  an absolute honour for me to support The Prince’s Trust and thank you for allowing me to return and perform for everyone in the great city of  Liverpool.  Paul Young did an amazing performance. Many thanks goes out to everyone involved once again, in supporting,  planning and organising such a special event  and also  for helping to make it such a wonderful evening”.

Celebrate Success Awards

Remarkable stories of young people who have undergone life-changing journeys with the help from The Prince’s Trust were heard at the Celebrate Success Awards at St Georges Hall, Liverpool. This event was hosted by Simon Rimmer, Prince’s Trust Ambassador. Listening to the amazing achievements of everyone nominated were truly inspirational.  Without the marvellous support of The Prince’s Trust,  generations of young lives could have been very different.

Scott performs for Joseph’s Goal

It is with delight to announce that over £20,000 was raised at Joseph’s Goal Charity Ball 2015. Scott performed many songs during the evening and it was an amazing event.  All the funds from Joseph’s Goal have been directly funding ground-breaking research into NKH at the University of Colorado, in the laboratory of Dr Johan van Hove – the worldwide leader in this field.  “We are so so close to finding a cure for the disorder, which will take the form of gene therapy or stem cell approaches…every penny makes a difference”. “Superb evening and Joseph was there throughout the whole evening – such an incredible and courageous little boy. It was truly an honour for me to support Joseph at his event.”

I am  honoured and delighted to have supported and performed at The Prince’s Trust Diamond Ball. St George’s Hall, Liverpool was spectacular with it’s beautiful layout!  Great to have met and performed alongside Spandau Ballet’s very own and immensley talented Tony Hadley as well as tribute band The Other Guys. The evening was a massive success raising £90,000, which means so much in helping disadvantaged young people into work, training or education.

Thank you to everyone for your comments on the evening and since the event and to all the organisers, sponsors, staff, sound guys and also host Willie Miller who worked so hard to make it yet again such a successful evening.
