Making A Difference Awards

Helena ‘Making A Difference Awards’ is a wonderful evening and a chance for Helena Homes, St Helens to recognise the achievements made in our communities.  The ‘Making A Difference Awards’ recognise individuals and community groups who have gone the extra mile to improve their neighbourhoods.

“It was very well organised event by Helena Homes for over 260 people. Being told about the type of work and support, as well as effort the individuals and community groups do within their community is truly amazing,  as they give their time voluntarily.  It was a great pleasure for me to meet some of the Award winners and to perform for everyone throughout the evening.”

Scott performs for Young Persons Charity

Helping young people  who suffer with a variety of issues and working with  many youngsters who have social, confidence and self-esteem issues which affect their lives  is what the Tunza’s Pride Charity is involved with.  The opening of their very first social centre in St Helens during 2013 will be  a massive achievement for everyone concerned.  Scott was delighted to have been able to support the charity and provide the entertainment during the evening at Haydock Park.
